Anyway you look at it, the so-called “apology” by Tiger Woods is nothing but a carefully-scripted attempt to save what’s left of his career and image.
And it ain’t working.
In what could only charitably be called a monotone, Woods offered a wooden (pun intended) apology that lacked sincerity, believability or candor.
It came off for what it was…a callous attempt to play the media.
And from all indications, few bought it.
