Say What?

Now let’s see if we have the latest White House spin on Karl Rove correct. Rove didn’t leak to the media. Nah. The media leaked to him. That’s right. The Associated Press is reporting Rove got covert CIA operative Valerie Plame’s name from Robert Novak, the right-wing wacko columnist who never met a war he didn’t like.
If true, Rove’s bizzare claim begs an even bigger question: Who the hell told Novak who, in his column, claimed he got the name from top administration officials?
In the end, it will turn out to be Rove, who has already lied about even talking to journalist about Plame but now admits he did.
Just another daily lie from the most duplicitous Presidential administration in history.

You’re right, this is suspicious, but it’s not true that Novak never met a war he didn’t like. He has been against the Iraq war from the beginning, much like Pat Buchanan, and has been slammed by the neocons as an “unpatriotic conservative”. What his motivations are in the case I cannot figure given this fact. Was he trying to show that the Bush administration will go to any lengths? Why out an agent whose husband apparently is against the war too?
    Very weird.

It’s amazing how those who hate this president believe* everything they hear unquestioned… Now that we know the timing of all of the events, explain what Rove could have possibly gained by this whole thing?
You “progressives” don’t think for yourselves; What was the motivation? Michael (please No)-Moore or Nancy Pelosi say it and you guys just jump on the bandwagon like mind numb robots…
Here is the best example of all…
After 911 we find out that there was “one” email from an FBI agent that says terrorists may use a plane as a bomb and the dems say “see, Bush should have known!” and they have an official investigation launched!
    -At the same Time-
Bush has CIA reports as well as other countries intelligence showing that terrorists may seek help from Iraq for chemical or other weapons and the democrats are saying that it’s not enough proof. Well, you can bet your free American A$$ that if Bush didn’t go into Iraq and another terrorist action happened in the U.S. that was shown to be supplied by Iraq, that same bit of info that “isn’t enough” would suddenly become a mountain of evidence that Bush knew about but was to stupid to react or intentionally didn’t react for some deranged political gain….
Can you show me your posts from your outrage when Clinton bombed the Aspirin factory? Maybe that would lend some credibility to your blog…
Believe* I guess the truth is you don’t believe it, I have to imagine you are too intelligent for that but for what ever twisted reason you are simply willing to perpetuate the lie for the sake of the mind numb robots your public schools are trying to produce…
Lastly if you want to talk about lies, please lets look at your title “Journalist”. I see no journalism here just editorialism so why not be truthful and call this an editorial and not news…

You know Steve, before you make an ass of yourself proving how little you know about me or my writing, I suggest you do a little research. My columns on Capitol Hill Blue during the Clinton years were often cited by Bubba’s supporters as examples of “Clinton haters propaganda.”
    Here’s an example:

I don’t like liars of any political stripe. I also don’t care much for hit-and-run commentary from those who don’t do their research.
    Doug
