So, son, what did you do in school today

From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

Some charges have been dismissed against two Warner Robins Middle School students who allegedly engaged in oral sex in a classroom while a substitute teacher and other students were present.

Houston County Sheriff's Lt. Randall Banks said the eighth-grade students admitted during a Houston County Juvenile Court hearing Monday to public indecency and disruption of public school.

Banks said all other charges, including sodomy and violation of probation against the male, were dismissed as part of an agreement reached between the district attorney's office and lawyers representing the students.

The female was released to the custody of her parents Monday. Banks said the male will continue to be detained at the Crisp Regional Youth Detention Center because he was on probation.

Facts of life: Too little, too late

Teenage SexOne of the necessary tasks that every parent of a teenager faces is "the talk," the discussion about sex and the "fact of life."

However, it appears too many parents are waiting too late to discuss sex with their children. The talk often comes after the fact.

Reports U.S. News & World Report:

When it comes to talking about sex, parents are a few paces behind their kids.

Too often, the birds-and-the-bees conversation occurs after, and not before, kids start experimenting sexually, possibly in risky ways, reports a study in the January issue of Pediatrics.

This revelation comes despite American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations that health-care providers and parents talk to their kids about sex and sexuality early in life.

"Parents are a little behind the 8 ball. They underestimate their children's sexual knowledge and interest and behaviors," said Dr. Lawrence Friedman, director of adolescent medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

"It's a hard subject for many parents to broach, but the level of sexual activity in many kids has moved up in terms of initiation. It's younger," added Alan Hilfer, director of psychology at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City. "Talking about it is very helpful in terms of disease prevention, unwanted pregnancy and even issues around relationships."

Rest in peace Farah Fawcett

062409farahfawcet.jpg She was every teen-aged boy's wet dream in the 1970s, the blond with the perfect smile, the perfect body with just a hint of nipple showing because she could, and did, go without a bra most of the time.

Farah Fawcett was the perfect sex symbol for the time and even though the matured into a legitimate actress and fought the cancer that would eventually claim her life with grace and style, we remember her sexuality with no guilt.

The poster with the one-piece, form-fitting swimsuit, hung in many a young boy's bedroom and fed both fantasy and raging hormones.

Fawcett, 62, died today after a long public battle with cancer. But even at the end, with her gaunt body ravaged by the disease she remained a timeless beauty.

Goodbye Farah. We will miss you but we also will never forget.  You were an icon of the 70s who endured. In hse times, that's a very rare commodity.

Porn star Marilyn Chambers found dead

Reports The San Francisco Chronicle:

041409chambers.jpgAdult film actress Marilyn Chambers, the onetime Ivory Snow model who gained greater fame as the star of the X-rated "Behind the Green Door," was found dead Sunday by her teenage daughter at her home in Southern California. She was 56.

Authorities have not released a cause of death.

Ms. Chambers, given name Marilyn Briggs, was central to the erotic empire built by the late Mitchell brothers - Jim and Artie - at their Mitchell Brothers O'Farrell Theatre, now in its 40th year.

Ten years ago, San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown proclaimed a "Marilyn Chambers Day," praising the porn queen for her "artistic presence," her "vision" and her "energy."

"That wasn't from any personal knowledge. That was all part of the allure of San Francisco," Brown said Monday. "At the time that she was doing what she was doing, it created an interest nationally if not internationally in our city. And people would come here to see if Marilyn Chambers was really dressed in snowflakes."

The snowflakes reference goes back to her debut as a teenage model for Ivory Snow, which featured her on a laundry detergent box as a young mother cuddling a laughing baby. According to journalist Warren Hinckle, chronicler of the Mitchell Brothers era, she grew up in Connecticut as the daughter of an ad executive. "She went to all the right schools and was doing all the right things," Hinckle said.

At age 18, she had made her way to San Francisco and answered an ad placed by the Mitchells, who were making films to show in their movie theater. "Behind the Green Door," released in 1972, was one of the first adult movies with a plot, of sorts. In their promotions, the Mitchells didn't mind that their star had a previous affiliation with the cleansing powers of soap.

"Without this Ivory Snow thing, they might have stayed with these small-time performers," said Rita Benton, marketing director for the Mitchell Brothers O'Farrell Theatre. "It hit all the major news media in 1973. Then they promoted the movie as 'starring Marilyn Chambers, 99.44% pure.' That's what the Ivory Snow line used to be."

Made for $50,000, "Behind the Green Door" has made millions, Benton said, and still sells on DVD, as does her second movie, "Resurrection of Eve," made in 1973.

Whatever happened to the girl next door?

122208debbieellison.jpgWe're old enough to remember when Playboy playmates really did look like the girl next door. Nowadays, they look more like the hooker next door.

Where, oh where, are the fresh-faced coeds like Debbie Ellison (left), a college student from Boston who appeared as Miss September 1970.

OK, we know, the girl next door usually doesn't take her clothes off for Playboy magazine, at least not the girls who lived next door to us.  But Playboy was an object of fantasy for young men and back in the day the Playmates didn't look like girls who would demand money for the evening.

Those days, alas, are gone. Playmates now pose with their legs wide open in shot that would make a gynecologist blush. And nothing is left to the imagination since they are as hairless down there as they day they came out of their momma's womb.

They look more like porn stars than the girl next door, unless the girl next door is Jenna Jamison.

Ah, Jennifer

jennifer_aniston.jpgLeave it to Jennifer Aniston to find a way to make us forget all about the economy, the war and the general decline of a place called America.

The lovely Jennifer, attired only in a discreetly-placed tie, is gracing the current issue of GQ magazine and the former "Friends" star is looking good as ever.

She also has a few things to say about Angelinia Jolie, the sexpot who stole her husband, Brad Pitt.

Keep in mind that GQ isn't Playboy so we won't be seeing the goods in the photos that accompany the article inside but there's just enough cheesecake to keep the passions stirred.

You're looking good babe. Thanks for the diversion.

Ohmigosh! Hermione wants to do nudies!

120908emmawatson.gifEmma Watson, the cute little thing who plays Hermione in the Harry Potter films, says she wouldn't mind baring all for the "right film" or the right director.

Watson tells the Sunday Times of London:

"I'm at a strange age," says Watson, wrinkling her brow and asking for an orange juice, which doesn't arrive. (She is simply too lovely to ask twice.) "I'm not a woman yet, but I'm not a girl any more. [Film companies] say, 'Oh, in a couple of years you'll be perfect for this.' I'll be like, yeah, but I want to be studying English then, so it's going to be quite tough to choose between the two."

"I have a really supportive family and a full life away from Harry Potter. It's unlikely that I'll be part of anything this big ever again, so I need to deal with that. I'm not going to take a job just because, shit, I'm not doing anything else." She still loves acting, naturally -- she would even, steady chaps, go nude. "Yes," she says. "For Bernardo Bertolucci. It . . . depends. I'm not getting my kit off any time soon, but it is part of my job."

If Emma takes her clothes off for her art she will join Harry Potter himself -- actor Daniel Radcliffe -- who let it all hang out on stage in Equus.

Oh mama

Carol Alt is still sexy as hell at age 48 and she has no qualms about displaying her charms in the December issue of Playboy.
113008carolalt.jpgSays Alt:

"There's a saying I always remember when I started working: At 20, you have the face you're born with, at 30 you have the face you work for and at 50 you have the face you deserve.

"The reason I showed my body is because my body would not have been like this if it hadn't been for the fact that I had gone raw.

"I want people to know that after 40, it's not the end of your life. Life goes on. You can feel good, look good, be beautiful and sexy and that's all an attitude which comes from health."

Whatever you say, Carol, whatever you say.

By now, just about everyone has heard about the Washington state husband who left his cell phone in a McDonalds and then nude shots his wife that he kept on the phone suddenly showed up on the Internet.

Makes us wonder. Made Joey Arerilla, a blogger for CNET, wonder too:

Without going into the merits of the suit--that's for the courts to decide--or pinning the blame on anyone, I just have to wonder why anyone would carry around such sensitive photos on his or her mobile phone.

Again, there's no excuse for tampering with someone's mobile phone, or posting private photos online. But on a purely practical note, wouldn't you be paranoid about keeping private pics like that on your mobile, when it's so easy to misplace it or have it stolen? How many handsets have you, or someone you know, lost over the years?

How did all this come about? Reports the Morning News of Northwest Arkansas:

A Bella Vista couple has sued McDonald's for at least $3 million after nude photographs of the woman were allegedly taken off her husband's misplaced cell phone and posted on the Internet.

Phillip and Tina Sherman say Phillip left his cell phone at McDonald's on Sixth Street in Fayetteville on July 5. Tina Sherman then began receiving offensive calls and text messages about the pictures, then learned her pictures, which she had sent her husband, had been posted on-line along with her name, address and phone number.

The Web site allegedly described how McDonald's employees retrieved the pictures from a phone left at the restaurant.

Before the pictures and information could be taken down, Tina Sherman began receiving threats and lewd, explicit and obscene text messages and phone calls from strangers who had seen the site. There were also similar comments posted on the web site, according to the suit.

The suit names McDonald's Corp., Matthews Management Co. and a manager, Aaron Brummley. Employees of the restaurant had allegedly promised to secure the cell phone, turn it off and safeguard it until Phillip Sherman could retrieve it.

The suit seeks no less than $1 million for outrage; no less than $1 million for public disclosure of private facts; and, no less than $1 million for casting the Shermans in a false light.

A married Iowa woman caught banging a guy she just met in the men's room of the Metrodome in Minneapolis during a college football game says she's a good, church-going lady who woudn't do that kind of think unless somebody drugged.

Reports Daily Times-Herald of Carroll, Iowa:

While police say a high-profile indecent conduct case in the Minneapolis Metrodome Saturday is closed, a Carroll woman involved in it told the Daily Times Herald she believes she was a victim of foul play rather than a willing collaborator.

Lois K. Feldman, 38, of Carroll, and Ross M. Walsh, 26, of Linden, were ticketed for indecent conduct after they were reportedly caught engaging in sexual activity in a Metrodome men's restroom handicapped stall during the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers game with the Iowa Hawkeyes. More than a dozen people in the restroom were cheering Feldman and Walsh by the time authorities arrived, a University of Minnesota Police report says.

Feldman acknowledged drinking heavily before the game and says she doesn't remember being in the bathroom.

"I would never ever do that," Feldman said. "My kids are my life. I go to church every Sunday."

Information obtained in police reports and during an interview with University of Minnesota Police Chief Greg Hestness revealed no suggestion or evidence that the incident was anything but consensual on the part of both Walsh and Feldman.

But Feldman tells the Daily Times Herald she may have been drugged or otherwise victimized.

"Everybody thinks something got put in my drink," Feldman said.

She offers no further details as to how that might have happened or who may have been involved.

"Right, and that's what my attorney and I are working on," Feldman said.
