We've been gone for too long

American Newsreel is back with its varied look at life, politics, sex and whatnot in this grand place called America.

We launched American Newsreel in 2002 but lost some of our archives from then until January 2004. We're still trying to find some old backups from 2002 and 2003. We're sure we had them somewhere. Just have to find the right backup tape.

We're also still working on restoring our backups from Jan. 1, 2004 until now. We hope to have all the backup files located and restored by the beginning of the new year.

Newsreel is not for the easily offended, the politically-correct or the ultra-serious. We're here to have a little fun.

Until then, sit back, relax and join us in exploring the absurdities that lie all around us.
