Typical Novak

080505novak.jpgRight-wing blowhard Bob Novak, muttering that "this is bullshit" walked off the set of CNN's "Inside Politics" Thursday and may have walked out of his career at the cable news channel.

CNN, calling Novak's childish display "inexcusable and unacceptable," suspended the lackluster columnist indefinitely.

"We've asked Mr. Novak to take some time off," CNN spokesman Edie Emery said.

I've known Novak for a long time and this kind of prima donna behavior is typical. Like far too many right-wingers, he thinks the world revolves around him. He was debating Democratic strategist James Carville who, as usual, was tuning Novak's lame conservative rhetoric into mush. When Bob can't have his way he turns into a pouting child.

Media Matters has a clip of Novak's schoolboy stunt.

Whaddya expect when you pit an ex-Marine (Carville) against a chickenhawk (Novak)?
Fade away Bob, fade away. . .

Oh come on. This was a deliberately staged tantrum to avoid Plame questions. Sheesh
